Bio[]

He may not like Earth rodents leaking lubricants on him, but he does have a fondness of blasters, more blasters, and heavy weaponry. Opponents definitely won't feel lucky when the consummate veteran of countless battles shows off his cannons.

Commander[]

Ironhide is a preferred choice for beginner Commanders, as his few skills are all about high damage. Heavy spamming is a simple technique, but more often than not the opponent will sidestep most of his missiles.

Opponent[]

Simply sidestep or block Ironhide's Heavy and Special Attacks, or else suffer KO amounts of damage.

Ironhide's Special II is a hard bargain to dodge and avoid taking large amounts of damage, especially when he has Obliteration awakened. If Ironhide feels like showing off his cannons, keep at distance at all costs.

  • Everyone without Evades, Armor, Shields, or Resistances - These bots will be easily torn apart.
  • Megatron (ROTF) - Nobody will ever hail Megatron again.

  • Mirage has several counter-measures that reduces the potential effectiveness of Ironhide's attacks.
  • Rhinox's Shields also reduce the effectiveness of Ironhide's missiles.
  • Optimus Primal's Critical Armor will leave the master of burns unable to tear anything apart.
  • Blaster - Slowing down Ranged Attacks will hamper his ability to tear anything apart at snail speed.
  • Scorponok's Dazed ability will cause Ironhide's Special Attacks to miss completely.
  • An awakened Waspinator will revive in every fight whenever he gets torn apart by Ironhide’s specials.
  • Jetfire and Soundwave - Reflecting the master of burns’s ranged attacks will only burn and tear himself apart.
  • Grimlock - Ironhide will find this matchup to be a joke to the King of the Dinobots as his powerful burns from his missiles will be purified.
  • Megatronus - The master of the demolitions’s relic of preservation will hamper Ironhide’s ability to tear the fallen apart. Ironhide may be the master of burns but Megatronus is the master of the demolitions.
